Follow one of the two procedures below to install the latest release of the Cresset KNIME™ nodes
Update your Cresset KNIME nodes by adding the Cresset KNIME update site to your software sources
If you are using KNIME 5 or later version, follow the installation instructions for the new user interface (UI). If you want to keep using the old UI, go to the information page by clicking at the ‘i’ button at the top right of the KNIME window, and select ‘Switch to classic user interface’. Then you can follow the instructions described in this page.
- Start KNIME, choose Help->Install new software, then click ‘Add’
2. Paste the URL of the Cresset KNIME update site:
http://www.cresset-group.co.uk/knime/update
in the ‘Location’ box, then click ‘Add
3. After a few seconds, you will see the ‘Cresset KNIME extensions’ appear on your screen and you will be able to select them
Finally, click ‘Next’, ‘Next’, accept the license agreement, click on ‘Finish’ and restart KNIME to use the updated Cresset nodes
Complete the installation downloading example workflows that encompass each of the Cresset KNIME nodes.
Update your Cresset KNIME nodes by downloading the zipped Cresset KNIME update site
- Download the zipped version of the updated Cresset KNIME nodes, then update KNIME
Choose Help → Install New Software, then click ‘Add’
2. Click on the ‘Archive’ button
3. Browse for the ‘Cresset_KN.<vers>.zip’ compressed archive you have just downloaded and click ‘Open’, then click ‘Add’
4. Select the ‘Cresset KNIME Extensions’
Finally, click ‘Next’, ‘Next’, accept the license agreement, click on ‘Finish’ and restart KNIME to use the updated Cresset nodes
