Prize draw – terms & conditions

BiotechX, Basel 6 – 8 October 2026

  1. Cresset
    1. This prize draw (“Draw“) is organised by Cresset Biomolecular Discovery Limited, incorporated in England and Wales (Company No. 4151475), New Cambridge House, Bassingbourn Road, Litlington, Cambridgeshire, SG8 0SS (“Cresset“).
  2. Eligibility & Entry
    1. Open to attendees of the Cresset’s stand at BiotechX aged 18 or over, excluding Cresset employees and their immediate families.
    2. No purchase, payment, or fee of any kind is required to enter. Entry is free and open to all eligible stand visitors.
    3. To enter, visitors will complete the online entry form at the Cresset stand during the event opening hours on 6-7th October 2026.
    4. One entry per person. Incomplete or illegible entries may be disqualified.
  3. Prize
    1. One (1) winner will receive: a one (1) year licence for Flare Pro+ and a Lenovo laptop, model: ThinkPad P1 Gen 9. The software licence will be subject to licence terms of use, which will be provided to the winner separately.
    2. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Cresset may substitute the prize (or an element of it) with an item of equivalent or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
  4. Winner Selection & Notification
    1. The winner will be selected by random draw from all valid entries after close of entries, on or around 8th October.
    2. The draw will be conducted by Nick Foster, Chief Customer Officer at Cresset and is final; no correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection process.
    3. The winner will be notified by email or phone using the contact details provided at entry. If the winner does not respond to the win notification, or is not available to collect the prize before the close of the conference on 8th October 2026, Cresset reserves the right to withdraw the prize offer to that entrant and select an alternative winner by random re-draw from the remaining valid entries, without further notice or liability to the original selected entrant.
  5. Data Protection
    1. Personal data collected (name, contact details) will be used solely to administer the Draw, to notify the winner, and for marketing communications if such consent has been received, and will be processed in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where applicable, the EU/UK GDPR.
    2. Entrants may also opt in on the entry form to receive marketing communications from Cresset about its products and services. Where an entrant opts in, Cresset will retain and use their contact details for this purpose until the entrant withdraws consent, which can be done at any time by unsubscribing or by contacting sally.jennings@cresset-group.com. Opting in to marketing is not required to enter the Draw.
    3. Draw entry data will be retained only as long as needed to administer the Draw and select and notify the winner (and any winner records for legal/tax purposes) and then deleted. Contact details provided for marketing purposes under paragraph 5.2 above will be retained until the entrant withdraws consent or requests deletion.     4. By entering, the winner consents to their name being announced at the event and/or on Cresset’s website or social media, unless the winner objects at the time of notification.
  6. Liability
    1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cresset accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Draw or from acceptance or use of the prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g., death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
    2. Cresset is not responsible for entries not received due to technical issues, illegibility, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
  7. General
    1. Cresset reserves the right to amend these terms, or to cancel or postpone the Draw, at any time for reasons beyond its reasonable control, without liability.
    2. These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute arising from the Draw shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Basel-Stadt.
