ACS Fall 2025: Active Learning FEP presentation
We’re looking forward to ACS Fall 2025 in Washington DC. Cresset Senior Computational Chemistry Developer David McMahon will be presenting “Active Learning FEP for prioritizing bioisosteres in medicinal chemistry” during the Machine Learning in Chemistry session, Room 154A, Tuesday August 19,10:20 – 10:40am.
Cresset Account Managers Amanda Walzer and Barry Connolly will also be available for meetings and general discussion.
Prioritizing designs with Electrostatic Complementarity™
In the latest in our blog series on Targeted Protein Degradation (TPD), we demonstrate an analysis of the electrostatic character of a heterobifunctional degrader system using Cresset’s proprietary Electrostatic Complementarity™.
We demonstrate computational evaluation of new linker designs and assess the complementarity of a degrader structure to a protein target of interest. The results offer insight into the potential diversity of linkers that complement the binding site, leading to improved designs.

Cresset CEO Tim Cheeseright’s Boston visit
Earlier this month, Cresset CEO Tim Cheeseright was in Boston to meet customers and spend a little R&R time with our expanding NA team. Unfortunately the weather didn’t play ball and the 6ft waves made the planned boat trip a little more exciting than had been planned! It didn’t detract from the great discussions and the valuable feedback provided by customers.
